The dabbler is driven by feeling, and so if it feels good, they keep doing it. But as soon as it gets tough or it's not smooth, now they have some friction and they just bolt. So they'll either make up an excuse, they'll tell a story of why it's not for them or why it doesn't work, and they'll go to the next new shiny object. That's most of the world. Most of the world are dabblers. If you're a dabbler, you're going to suffer because your feelings aren't real in a lot of ways, right? Because if you're in fear, fear exaggerates things. It creates an illusion, which is very important if you're in fight or flight, you need to survive but most of the time we're not, we live in a pretty civilized, safe world, but fear exaggerates and produces a distorted reality. So it's giving you information that isn't real. It's big and scary. When that happens, we have bad information. We make bad decisions, which leads to regret.
